Hope all is going well in South LA! I am doing well down here in San Diego. I just finished my third week as a Systems Engineer at Qualcomm and am learning everything I can about cell phone systems. Trust me, you don't want to know how your cell phone works - just appreciate that it does. Qualcomm is a great company with great amenities like free water/soda/coffee, volleyball courts, pingpong/fuseball rooms, onsite gyms, and frequent events to enjoy. Today I went to lunch and bowling for a teambuilding exercise. Wait am I bragging too much?! I bowled a 146. Now I definitely am :) I'm enjoying Pacific Beach, and have been blessed to have a few coworkers that live a block away. My coworker Phil has an office right next to mine so we are carpooling together and have been checking out nearby churches. Pray that I will be bold in truth and love with the people that I meet - I often catch myself trying to fit into my new environment instead of being a light in it. I'll be moving in two weeks to a new place down the street, just two blocks from the beach! The three guys I'm moving in with are young professionals but not Christians so hopefully God can use me there. I hope you guys can come visit sometime - I'm putting in two futons and a couch for guests.
This evening I'll be coming to LA so I should be at church with you all! Hopefully you guys can join me for lunch afterward.
