Rugs or lamps

Dear South LA Family,
Hey all... as I've shared with you over the last several weeks I am looking for a job. Basically I wanted to ask you for your help.
Please let me know if you see ANYTHING that would be a good idea to apply for. I'm willing to work anywhere and I thought having 20 sets of eyes instead of just mine might help. If you happen to see or hear anything, please let me know. I would also appreciate job searching suggestions. If you know of any helpful rescources or strategies - that would be helpful too!
Thanks for everything you all have done to walk through this time with me. Above all else, please pray with me for a job. I know that God is going to provide for all of my needs and that he's using this time to change and shape me, but it sure isn't easy! Pray that I would remain confident in Him and hopeful as he humbles and grows me.

I don't know if I have mentioned this before but what about the substitute teaching agency Shalom works for, it could be something for the meantime and give you more exposure to charter schools.  Prayin for ya!

Hey All,
I just wanted to tell you that you can stop keeping your eyes peeled because I got a job offer today! I'll be teaching in a pretty unique elementary school in Baldwin Hills and I start this week planning and working on the classroom. I'm so excited and humbled that the Lord provided something I thought was really impossible, an opportunity to teach. It's either 1st or 2nd grade, I interviewed for both and didn't realize till after I got off the phone that I was too excited to ask which grade... oops. I'll tell you guys more when I know more :)
