Below is an update on Sister Elizabeth Cawns who served with us physically on a Kairos Team (I think it was Leonard's team) and as a prayer warrior on subsequent teams.

BTW, if anyone wants to give a testimony for the video before the storm text me (225.301.9582). Otherwise we will resume after the storm has passed.

I am getting moved later today to Park Oak Care Center, which is in dogtown. they don't' allow in person visits, only through the windows, which should get interesting rather quickly. perhaps I shall feel like Roxanne! They are going to let my friend Judi come a little earlier this morning than noon and we'll try and put off the move until afternoon so I can at least see her. I will see if Fr. Peter can give me a drive-by blessing as I leave! I will let you know how it is when I get settled. I will do PT and OT to try to get my strength up enough to see folks in the beginning of the new year as originally planned.

you love and prayers have sustained and upheld me through all of this, and I am so grateful, especially for my parish and its clergy and parishioners. I treasure going to virtual compline each night and have made wonderful new friends I never would have met except for that.
