  Comparison.
Dubai   -    Kuwait.
         
* Local calls are free   -   TRUE , International calls cost 450 fils ( 50 Rupees) / Minute. Incoming Intnl calls cost 50 fils ( 6 Rupees) / Minute on Cell Phone. Every Message cost 50 Fils.
* Petrol is cheaper than water, Payment for drainage too - TRUE   - 50 fils for Petrol and 100 fils for water.
* Any building construction finishes in 3 months  - TRUE
* Unqualified get more salary than Qualified - 50% TRUE - 15 years before, mostly uneducated and trouble makers sent to Gulf by force. Their skills used on their duty and became highly paid than later joined qualified.
* Show-off  more than real quality & performance  - TRUE Especially Egyptians and Palastinians.
* Labourers are paid less than what they can earn back in their own country - TRUE
* Companies can kick out their employees without any reason - TRUE
* Wasta (recommendation) more powerful than money - TRUE , Very few places take bribes.
* Cleaners have more Wasta than officers - TRUE - For Bengla deshi.
* Watchman has more Rights than the Building Owner - TRUE - 99% Illitrated Egyptians with no brain.  
* Office boy & Drivers  have more influence on Boss than Manager - TRUE  - Bengla Deshi
* Gulf climate changes so fast, in one hour u can see raining, dust storm, hot / humid / chilling weather - TRUE
* Gulf is located in desert, still u find greenery everywhere  - TRUE
* If u can't earn money in the Gulf, u can't earn anywhere in the world * In Gulf, time goes very fast, Friday to Friday comes u never know, its so fast  - TRUE
* Every bachelor has a dream of getting married and buying a house in India - TRUE
* U love your parents, friends, relatives 100 times more than when you were together - TRUE
* Being at home is more painful than being at work - TRUE
* Indians appear/pretend to be more religious/God fearing than they really are - TRUE - BECAUSE OF POLICE CATCH AND JAIL AND DEPORTATION. Everybody have big family problems. No one comes for help other than The God.  
* Theatres are full of Arab nationals whenever there is a movie of  Salman / Sharukh - TRUE
* Gulf girls sing Hindi songs but don't understand anything - TRUE - Most girls are Keralites.
* Prostitutes available, but cheaper than beggars - TRUE - No Wasta for Woman and Liquor Case.
* Dance Bars and Pubs more than that in B'lore -  FALSE - no dance bars or any party halls.
* A ladies hair saloon every 5 meters -  FALSE - Very Few in Kuwait.
* Food/Grocery delivery to the car - TRUE
* A Starbucks every 10 meters -  FALSE-Very rare
* Hard Rock Cafe with no alcohol  -   TRUE
* In one single flate sharing with   2 families - TRUE & Bachelors share with family flat.
* A Shopping Mall located every 2 km -  FALSE
* Highway lanes Seperated for slow & fast drivers - TRUE
* Getting a license is more difficult than buying a car TRUE
* Smashed cars are more than bugs - TRUE
* Parking charge: 2 Dirham for 1 hour - 5 Dirham for 2 hours & so on - TRUE - 100 FILS (12 Rupees)  above 1 hour, 150 fils
* No Queues for women - TRUE . No queue for Kuwaiti nor no common law applicable for them.
TRAFFIC SIGNAL IN GULF:  
* GREEN : Signal to go for  Indians  - TRUE  
* YELLOW : Signal to go for Egyptians and Pakistanis, Americans, Europeans - TRUE  
* RED : Signal to go for Kuwaitis, Saudis , Palestinians & Lebanese - TRUE
