Thank you so much to EVERYONE who came out to join us at the Cubs game last night.  It meant so much to have you there and my only regret is that we didn't plan the evening on a double-header so that I would have had more time to catch up with all of you!

But guess what?  We're already planning our next get-together and I wanted to make sure that you were on the inside track.  Above + Beyond has partnered with the IMT Des Moines Marathon to plan a weekend of events around our "Evening of Inspiration" event.

Here is the schedule:

Friday, October 18

   4 PM - Steve Cannon will present a talk about the MDM at the Scheels Expo at the Hy-Vee Convention Center

   5 PM - Our VIP reception for the Evening of Inspiration will start at the Iowa Hall of Pride

   7 PM - Evening of Inspiration event begins at Hoyt

Saturday, October 19

   2 PM - Mary VanHeukelom will present a lecture at the Scheels Expo at the Hy-Vee Convention Center

   5:30 PM - The "ABC 5 Pasta Dinner, Featuring Above + Beyond Cancer" will kick off at Hy-Vee Hall.  Dr Deming and I will be presenting the keynote!

Sunday, October 20

   7:30 - IMT Des Moines Marathon / Half-Marathon / Marathon Relay

   8:30 - 5K run!

There are two things you need to do to get registered for the weekend:

1.  Purchase a ticket for Evening of Inspiration

2.  Let us know that you want to run in one of the events and we'll get you registered.  

The good news is that you can do both of those things at our website at AboveAndBeyondCancer.org!
