Columbia World Projects is happy to announce that applications are now open for the Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University. Rising leaders from the U.S. and around the world who have demonstrated a commitment to finding solutions to challenges in their communities, countries, and regions are invited to apply to participate in an immersive, fully-funded, residential program in New York City. Over the course of an academic year, Scholars have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills and to build new capacities and networks that accelerate their impact in their home countries.
Information on how to apply for the 2022-2023 program, which runs from summer 2022 until spring 2023, is available here.

The application will remain open until December 22, 2021.
Since 2018, the Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University has welcomed 46 rising leaders from 36 countries who are addressing a range of challenges, including strengthening governance, increasing access to high-quality healthcare, promoting environmental sustainability, advancing women’s rights and ending gender-based violence.
