I am getting so many calls and emails pertaining to Economic Census (Survey) 2019. The below write-up is aimed at clearing all your doubts pertaining to economic survey 2019.
WHAT is Economic Census or Survey?
Economic Census India(ECI) is the census of the Indian economy through counting all entrepreneurial units in the country which are involved in any economic activities of either agricultural or non-agricultural sector which engaged in production and/or distribution of goods and/or services not for the sole purpose of own consumption. The economic census provides detailed information on operational and other characteristics such as number of establishments, number of persons employed, source of finance, type of ownership etc.
WHY Economic Census or Survey?
Every Government require/ depend on this data collected by
the survey to plan the Govt’s welfare policies/activates aimed at developing
various sectors in industry, agriculture,
human resource e.t.c. Hence this survey is vital for the growth of our country.
ROLE of VLE
VLE has to do the below 2 jobs immediately. They are:
1) 1) VLE has to register as supervisor
VLE job as a supervisor is to supervise the work of his staff / enumerators registered under him. VLE himself has to click on the below link to register as supervisor.

2) 2) VLE has to register 4 of his staff as enumerators
Each VLE has to immediately register 4 of his staff as enumerators under him. For registering enumerators VLE has to click the below link.

Above is the first step that needs to be followed by all VLEs to conduct economic survey. In the coming days we shall keep you posted on the next process and steps that need to be followed.
