Mostmajor patches come with an official changelog, but not all alterations are mentioned. These undocumented changes rely on the community to notice their existence and therefore report them to others. As such, the exact date of undocumented change implementation will be an estimate.
To illustrate how delightful/horrifying (delete according to taste) Dota 2's complexity is, I like to point to patch notes. Dota 2 and its monozygotic mod twin are still being balanced after a decade, with small changes coalescing into big effects on how we play the game. Have a gander at the changelog for Friday's sizeable Spring Cleaning update, which affects almost every hero and lots of items with small changes that should ultimately shake the game up for months to come.
Observe the breadth of the changes yet also how small some are, tweaking numbers by a few scant integers. Why, it's all exciting enough to make analysts chat for two and a half hours about the changelog. That's one big reason why I like Dota: it's a big weird huge horrible wonderful web of systems which work together in interesting ways.
It's probably no coincidence that this update arrives shortly before regional qualifiers begin for Valve's annual Dota 2 tournament The International. Teams will have a few weeks to start figuring out how Dota version 6.81 does and doesn't work, then we'll lead into the qualifiers with a fresh metagame. Every few months the meta shifts, with old and busted becoming the new hotness.
Our initial impression for the hero was that she is almost definitely a carry, but this impression was wrong. For a couple of weeks a lot of players were finding more success with the hero in a support role, with core Muerta being a sub-45% win rate hero. Slightly less than a week ago, Valve released a small Muerta-specific changelog which addressed the issue by making the hero more appealing as a core. Today we would like to discuss whether it worked as intended.
The changes to the hero were not handled with grace, if we are being completely honest. The changelog essentially reads: less utility, more DPS. Most notably, the Dead Shot fear duration got decreased.
On top of it the level 20 and level 25 talents were switched up a little, granting access to extra Gunslinger proc chance five levels earlier, but the extra two revenants for The Calling five levels later. The end result is a massive DPS powerspike at level 20 with the only real downside being the opportunity cost of not getting the second Dead Shot charge.
The end result is a hero that deals more damage, farms faster, has better scaling, but has slightly worse utility. If we are being honest, theoretically it is a net buff even for a greedy position four, but it is absolutely a massive buff for a core Muerta.
As a midlaner, Muerta offers good burst damage and long range initiation. We feel like her lack of mobility is definitely a problem and in higher level games she is an easy gank target. That said, her tempo can be pretty overwhelming.
The hero gets a very good intelligence growth, has access to multiple, strong damaging abilities with a massive AoE slow. Her early rotations can be devastating against most heroes, especially when coupled with the best early ganking catalyst in Witch Blade.
By maxing out Deadshot and The Calling you end up with a hero who can teamfight well as soon as she gets her Black King Bar. Later on, going for some extra Intelligence utility in either Bloodthorn against annoying casters or Scythe of Vyse against other heroes should solidify her position as a utility and DPS mix who can quickly dispatch of supports. We would also heavily recommend getting Blink Dagger at some point, as it opens up potential for a lot of different plays.
This one is a bit different and it feels like a lot of players are still figuring it out. When it comes to skill build we can see how one would want to max out The Calling for farming purposes. Prioritised, this ability can deal a lot of damage to a stack and help immensely with acceleration.
In fact, it is possible to make a case for a 1-1-4-1 Muerta that concentrates on attribute bonuses after level seven. Gunslinger is effectively a 50% double hit and Muerta is more than capable of out-DPSing most cores in the game with her right clicks, at least up until later portions of midgame.
This is the reason why getting any sort of critical strike on the hero is very important for her damage output. Personally, we have a soft spot for Daedalus, but depending on the game Silver Edge could be a better option.
While that statement is accurate, I feel like a disclaimer needs to be posted here that while Jug's blade dance talent is lack-luster, its offset by the fact that Jugs has a very low base attack time (BAT). The buff for Mureta being reduced from the standard 1.7 BAT to 1.6 BAT is nice, but Jugs without even needing talents in crit, has a BAT of 1.4, which is a baseline improvement of 21.4% dps just by being jugs.
Valve unveiled the Dota 2 7.07 Dueling Fates update back at The International, teasing the arrival of two new heroes to the game. Months later, the update's changelog is finally out in the open, and it brings some bulky gameplay changes with it.
The full changelog can be found here, but be warned, it is incredibly lengthy. It may be a good idea to wait until popular Dota 2 community figure Purge gets around to deliver another long-winded first impressions video.
Looking at the highlights, the two new heroes are at the forefront, Pangolier and Dark Willow. From the two, Pangolier is a melee carry hero with decent mobility and has the ability to curl up into a magic-immune ball to barrel through enemies as his ultimate. Dark Willow is a range support hero with mainly area-of-effect based abilities, and as her ultimate, she can make enemies run back to base.
Meanwhile, Dota 2's Matchmaking Rating system (MMR) is changing into a seasonal system that resets every six months. Players will earn a medal depending on the peak skill level they reached in a season whenever one comes to an end. The very first of these new Ranked Seasons will begin two weeks from now.
A new game mode that should be familiar to players of the original Defence of the Ancients or Heroes of Newerth is arriving for Dota 2 with this update; dubbed Turbo Mode by Valve, it is very similar to the regular All Pick mode, but heroes get more gold and XP, towers are weaker, and respawn times are reduced, all to allow for quicker and more lenient matches.
My visual effect idea for Aiushtha:
Uncountable: Make a green root that can slow the enemy
Enchant: Like visual effect hado 33 (Rukia's second skill in bleach vs one piece 2.08
Nature Attendant: Make a swarm of green leaves that can sprinkle pollen around Aishtha to heal her and allies
Impetus: The spear sprinkled pollen on its path and mark the enemy with green bubble..
sooo....cooolllll
Can u remake crystal maiden with new skill? make her strong like vol'jin (have heal skill, pure damage skill, stun(slow for rylai) and give her better visual effect.(ice elemen visual effect)please...
all these noobs saying icefrog please do this. he doesnt look at this he has his own official forum. and the amount of noobs who suggest stuff that dont even make sense is unbelievable. learn some english please.
icefrog pleease modify the coldawn of lifebrake(huskar) and the invisible skill of nerubian wever they are just too overpower, return the vanguard to block 40 damage and modify the visual efect of aphotic shield to a green runed sphere... could also create a hero using warcraft grunt, and for his abilities chaos grunt and a/or skeleton grunt... coul also make the god's strenght(sveen) to make he look red instead of blue while under the efect of god's strenght, could also make a total modification os terrorblade's skills cause they are ridiculous ^^.
What About A New Item you can choose the name but The effects are Castable to you and teammates lasts 5 secs and anyone who attacks you when the item is activated and casted on you, you will get silenced..
Seriously the amount of terribles spamming for Icefrog to change unimportant aspects of the game, please realise your sandbox is irrelevant and be a nuisance elsewhere.
Thanks for the release, look forward to playing!

HON will be fun if the icon and name of the items is just the same like in dota^^ because the icon and name in HoN vs Dota is entirely different^^
it's too difficult to memorize it because we became adept in plying dota^^
