About Kaa "Confirm delivery option"

Hi Sir,

Does anyone know that the "Confirm delivery option" in Kaa "To summarize, the confirm delivery option allows you to have the guaranteed delivery of every log record to the external storage.", what is the external storage means? Does it mean the Kaa client storage or Kaa server storage?
