I've been using an HF MANUAL mode in my rad...@hf.conf file
[HF MANUAL]
data = hf-pcm.local
freq = 0

I've been instantiating a new RX using the 'tune' command. However
I'd like to know how to delete an old unwanted one (like the 801 below)?

I know I can disable it by setting the freq to zero, but I'd like to remove it
all together.

n1gp@n1gp-NUC7i3BNK:~/RX888/ka9q-radio/src$ control hf.local

If you tune a dynamic channel to 0 Hz and stop querying its status, it will vanish 20 sec later.

Static channels don't time out even if they're tuned to 0 Hz.

Tnx Phil, yes it did vanish, although it seemed to stick around longer than 20 sec?
I'll have to play some more. I just started using your ka9q-radio package and I
am so glad to see some life out of my rx-888mk2.
