In publications made in the two local weekend papers, members were
notified of a meeting scheduled for this friday. The time and venue was
mentioned. What one found glaringly missing is what will be discussed
(if anything) during that meeting. What, if any, resolutions will be
proposed to be passed.
Now, is it not only sensible when one calls for a meeting for that person
to communicate not only the time and venue but also the nature of business
in order that those entitled to attend may have a reasonable opportunity
for consideration of the contemplated subjects of discussion and for
arranging their affairs so as to make their attendance not only practible
but also worth everybody's while?
I think it is necessary that the purpose of the meeting be communicated,
for, to use an extreme example, it may intended to propose during that
meeting to unseat by unlawful means the current "lawfully" constituted
government,in which case a few prison fearing individuals may wish to stay
away.
Regards,
Kauka.
p/s perhaps as an agenda item ap proposal could be made that somebody be
