SDRMemory6KSetup.exe Compromised

I have attempted on four occasions to download SDRMemory6KSetup.exe only to have Norton remove it from my system. Norton states that it finds WS.Reputation.1 imbedded and as such it is risky. I successfully downloaded SDRAutoCenterSetup.exe without issue.

I have had nothing but problems with Norton blocking things it shouldn’t.  That message does not indicate a virus, but only that the program has a “low reputation score”.  That translates to “this program isn’t downloaded very often & must therefore be suspect”. Norton is not the only anti-virus system that does this.

Try disabling Norton & then download/install SDRMemory6k.  Then re-enable Norton.

I was successful installing SDRMemory6K, but got this error message when I tried to export the memories I created in the program into the radio.

Your post did not include the error message.  However, I tried that function & did receive an error.  I never use that function myself, so I did not realize it was no longer working.  I will work on fixing it.

 

Also, as a general rule, please indicate the version of SmartSDR & model of radio that you are running.

Flex made a change to the API which caused the "Export to Radio" function to no longer work.  I will work on fixing this, but in the meantime, this function has been disabled in v3.5.2.

Actually, I am one of the alpha testers, and most of my development is done with the v3.4 API.  I only revert my radio back to a released version to check backwards compatibility.
