Senior Web Analytic/Freelancer Manager

Job Description:

Our company needs a skilled manager to control the process of data
generation and analysis for a search engine.

Managing large group of freelancer managers and their teams (30-50
people);
Interaction with developers, formulating tasks for freelancers;
Organizing the process to control the freelancers’ performance
quality;

Requirement:

Management skills to control a group (30-50 people) (1-2 years
experience in team management);
Communication skills to be a bridge between developers and
assessors/freelancers;
Analysis skill;
Explanation skill;
Good knowledge about Internet technologies;
Good English skill.

Advantages:

Web Analyst

Job Description:

In order to create a great search engine, huge database is essential.
Websites could include duplicated content or meaningless information
(trash). Trash pages affect performance of our system, therefore a web
analyst is needed to investigate trash pages, analyze them and make
instructions to distinguish trash pages from valuable content.
Web analyst has to work with a database of Urls, stored on remote
server, look for problematic websites and see the general rules for
many hosts. During this task, he suggests pattern for some kinds of
trash Urls, gets statistics using linux command-line tools, looks for
examples by web-browser, analyzes data and makes decision concerning
filtering. Web analyst interacts with developers and leads a small
group of freelancers. Freelancers help web analyst with gathering
statistic data and checking patterns.

Main responsibilities:

Manage small group of freelancers (3-5 people);
Make strategy to filter trash efficiently and guide freelancers to
do the task;
Review report from freelancers and make instruction for
developers;
Interact with developers for data update or other related
technical problems;
Do urgent or difficult tasks when requested.

Requirements:

Analysis skill;
Knowledge and experience in creating/managing different kinds of
websites;
Good at English;
Explanation skill;
Basic experience in bash, including tools: grep, awk, cut, sort;
Experience in regular expressions;
Some management skill;

Will be a plus:

Knowledge of common algorithms, data structures and complexity of
algorithms
Experience in Java SE.

Job Description:

Experience in development, and optimization applications with

Ability and desire to work independently to solve complex
algorithms;
Very strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms;
Ability to assess the complexity of the algorithm.

Project Manager

Job Description:

Managing development in our company projects, which include search
engine development;
Control and plan the implementation of projects;
Analyze Vietnamese webs.

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience in IT and management;
Experience in managing IT projects (experience in web-oriented
projects is a bonus);
Good technical background;
Good algorithm skills;
Good communication skills;
Good English skills.
