Hello,

I have been looking at K2 for a very long time and now a side project
of mine made me try it and actually I created a custom style for my
personal blog before even finishing launching the side project.

I like the search and the browsing functionality very much. My blog
you can find at http://dankov.name its mostly in Bulgarian except for
the quotes on the side from great science fiction novels I like.

It will be cool to let me know if you like the style or not... Give me
your two cents. etc.

So now lets get to my problem.

I have installed the localized version of Wordpress for Bulgaria
bg_BG. I have tried to search on what to do with the pot file and how
to translate things and where to place them but no real luck with
that. So my question is:

- Can someone tell me step by step what to do with the pot file and
where to place the generated .mo file and how to generate one.

The app that is given in the Localization page breaks under Snow
Leopard so its no use for me.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you're referring to POEdit [http://www.poedit.net/]
above? That's a shame, I'm sure it will update soon. There is a script
out there to convert .mo (maybe even on WordPress's Codex) if you can
manage to edit the .pot file in a normal text editor.

Otherwise, the site looks great and it seems you got along quite well
with the kind of css coding required to override k2's default colors
and styles.

You have to place the bg_BG.po and bg_BG.mo files in the root theme
directory (wp-content/themes/k2) It worked for me with in french.
