New issue 807 by capnwchan: Child page sidebar "(Page) Subpages" fatal
error with permalinks
http://code.google.com/p/kaytwo/issues/detail?id=807

Please read this first:
http://code.google.com/p/kaytwo/wiki/HowtoFileanIssue

If this is a bug, what steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a parent page and a child page. Have permalinks set to anything
other than the default.
2. The error occurs on the child page.
3.

What did you expect to happen? What does happen?:
I expected the sidebar to have the same page subpages as it had on the
parent page. It works fine in the default permalinks setting but the fatal
error occurs in the other permalinks setting.

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in
/home/user/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/k2/sidebar.php on line 22

SVN revision or version used (not 'latest')?:
k2-1.0-RC8-revision-815-2009-08-19

Version of WordPress used?:
2.8.4

If this is available online, what is the URI?:
http://s.carbonmold.com/wordpress/issues/13-1
this might be unavailable later.

Please provide any additional information below:
I don't know if any of the following information would help...
PHP version 5.2.6
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard-log
And the browsers I am using are
Firefox 3.5.2
Chrome 3.0...
It's a pretty clean install of WordPress and the K2 theme.
