If this is a bug, what steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install latest WordPress
2. Install K2 1.0-RC8
3. Go to blog home page
What did you expect to happen? What does happen?:
I expected the theme to work, instead it comes up with this:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_shortcode() in
/www/freewebhostx.com/a/k/i/akiwiguy/htdocs/wp-content/themes/K2/app/includes/pluggable.php
on line 175"
SVN revision or version used (not 'latest')?: 1.0-rc8
Version of WordPress used?: unknown, i think its the latest

You need WordPress 2.7+ for 1.0-RC8. You're using 2.2.3.
