Problems with G Drive Connectivity

Last Thursday and today we have had big problems with kids accessing Google Drive.  They (about 16 students at a time in our computer lab) were constantly beset by "problem connecting" errors and were forced to repeatedly click on Reload to try to get the connection back.  This happened while creating small documents in a shared folder.  We have a reasonably fast Internet connection (100 Mb down) though I didn't run speed checks at the time.

Are others experiencing this?  Suggestions?  Thanks, Joe

This may or may not have anything to do with your issue.

You might check "Scheduled Tasks". I have found that since we started using Chrome as a default browser, that about 3 or 4 Google related tasks have been setup in Scheduled Tasks. Some of these run every hour and sometimes more often. Once I discovered this and deleted the tasks a lot of our computers stopped having periodic slowdowns and disconnects.
