Just wondering how many people use FlashPanel and what you think of it.

Been using the free version for years. Couldn't live without it!

Tried it. didn't like it (only wanting to use bulk uploads of account info etc. not necessarily all the other features.)
note: the only features I liked and used will not be free after beta

Looked at GAM (Google Apps Manager) for all the bulk student account loads or OU updating.  LOVE it wrote an access database that takes my SIS extract and converts and builds the GAM command file script at the push of a button. I can use GAM to process all my students and load the new ones or to promote (move into other OU's)

Benefit of GAM is that you don't have to worry about going into admin panel, updating a record then not having data sync'd to Flashpanel. Flashpanel wants you to use their product only to mess with users. Syncing flashpanel after manually updating a record will cause those manual updates to disappear.

Is there a free way to give teachers view access to student Drives?  My school is slowly doing away with local home directories in favor of Google Drive.  I'd like to give my teachers a way to "look into" a student's drive when necessary

Thanks!

+1 to everything David said. GAM is amazing and free, and all Flash Panel does is provide a slower interface for the same, and will be paid eventually.

General Audit Tool (GAT) + GAM = way better than Flash Panel. Price? $0.
