Prevent Group Unsubscribe

We just had a user accidentally unsubscribe from a group in our domain.  She marked a message as spam and, because the message had been sent to the group, she was prompted to "Unsubscribe and Report Spam" or just "Report Spam".  She clicked the wrong one.

We have Google Groups for Business turned on, and our groups are synced with our Novell eDirectory using Identity Manager.  The Identity Manager talks to Google when there is a change in our eDirectory, but it can't catch or correct for something that was changed on the Google side.  So, we would never have known about this unsubscribe (luckily this user told us about the confirmation email she received).

Does anyone have a solution that could prevent something like this from continuing to happen?  I haven't found any resources on preventing users from unsubscribing from Google Groups.

Have you ever found a solution to this issue? We recently encountered the same situation with students unsubscribing from building related groups.
