chromebook screen shifted

We have an acer C710 Chromebook where the screen has shifted to the right leaving the left half blank and only the left half of the image showing. before I reset the device am I overlooking something easy like an ctrl or alt command to move the image to the left and fill the screen again?

You may want to try, Ctrl+Shift + Reload (F3) to rotate the screen 90/180 degrees. This may work before the reset?
