Goo.gl URL Shortener Extension Issue?

In Google Chrome, I have the Goo.gl URL shortener extension.  When I shorten a URL using it, I am unable to retrieve information about the Goo.gl link.  (When I copy and paste the long link in Goo.gl website it works.)  Anyone else have this problem?
