Two of my Windows 7 users had their Gmail "Contacts" go missing.  They say they are missing even when they log into their account from home.

Also, they cannot add new contacts--it is greyed out.

Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened?  My contacts are just fine -- most of the teachers are "out" so I cannot check right now to see how widespread the problem is.

Found the *unable to add and display contacts" problem resolution.  Evidently IE9 does not work with GMail contacts...so until this is fixed, people can use Firefox  (confirmed by our school) or Chrome (not confirmed but found in a google search).

Google Chrome has a business version with a nice msi that can be deployed, as well as group policies:

Odd that GMail doesn't work with IE9 correctly since accessing Gmail via outdated versions of IE will not work.
