Google Classroom

Does anyone have any experience with Google Classroom.  It looks like a great tool and I got our domain setup for it, but haven't really dove in too far.  Looks like Doctopus, Schoology/Google+ for Edu, and a couple other nice calendar/video features all rolled into one.

I see a lot of potential, especially if they make an API similar to the MailApp, DriveApp, etc.  I am looking for more of the permissions settings from an admin standpoint (define teachers OU, define Students OU, set teachers over students, etc.).

From what I can tell, it is almost as bad as Play for Education, where a teacher can assign ANYONE ANYTHING.  I have had teachers assign Super-Admins stuff using Google Play for Education, so I removed it from the domain.  I can see the same teachers adding everyone to their classroom just to make waves.

Is Classroom still on preview only mode? I turned on Classroom for our domain, but when teachers go to classroom.google.com they still get redirected to classroom.google.com/signup.

It is turned on in our domains, but not fully rolled out yet. It is being rolled out over the next two weeks. You will see a new mail group called classroom teachers. Make sure you do not delete this! It has something to do with classroom as well. I am thinking it may be associated with the approval process, but that is only a guess.
