Is there a way to prevent students changing language settings on managed Chromebooks? Thank you.

This may work for you but may cause other problems.

If you go in the admin console go to 'Device Management', 'Chrome Management', 'User Settings' and select the Admin Organization you want to apply this to such as the Organization you have your students in.  Go down to URL Blocking and block chrome://settings-frame.

However, this will prevent users in the Admin Org you set this up for from editing all chrome settings. Since it is user based, it will also apply managed and un-manged chromebooks as well as chrome on windows, linux, or mac.

I know that this has been requested as well as the ability to lock down accessibility.  The problem with locking the settings frame is that it doesn't solve the problem completely.  Pressing Alt+Shift also changes the Language settings, which is more often than not how students are changing the setting, not intentionally, but because they are naturally button mashers.

BTW, The Accessibility lock at the login screen was implemented not long ago.  Hoping that Language lock soon follows.
