Anyone using Postini and allowing users to control their spam settings?  We are having an issue where new users or users that have not changed their email address are able to log into their Postini settings and adjust them.  If a user changes their email address (login name), they are suddenly unable to log into the Postini portion to adjust settings.

We have a pilot group where we are changing their email addresses and removing punctuation between first and last names.  Prior to the change, Postini settings are available - post change, Postini does not allow the user to log in - it still sees the user as having the punctuation in their email address - even after going through the password recovery steps.

Any thoughts or ideas from this amazing brain trust?

Hello Brian,

Are you using the integrated version of Postini or the Standard version?  If you are using the integrated version, I would suggest making plans to migrate off of the system because it will be retired in June 2012.

If you are using the standard version, you will have to manually change the user's email address in the Postini System Manager.

Thanks!

Jason
