District-wide email

When I setup our domain, I created a group that would contain ALL employees.

This year we added student email (they are in a sub-domain). When students are added, would they be automatically added to the SRUSDALL email group?

I believe so.  We created staff group accounts for each school and then made them members of the Allstaff group.

I think this is unfortunately a big problem as you cannot make group security rules based on the domain.  As it is your students will be able to email all of your staff groups unless you specify the groups to only be posted to by a group member.  Then your admin can't email the librarians group without becoming a member.
