In the old Google Drive you use to be able to filter what documents are visible to the public, anyone in the organization or ones that were private.

In the new Google Drive that option has disappeared. Am I missing it ?

Hi Branden,

The options aren't missing, they are just well hidden in the newest version.

When you click on "Share", look for the small "Advanced" link in the lower right corner. That's where you can reveal all of the old options

Hope this helps

I'm not seeing the visibility search option like in old drive either.  In the dropdown if you click "Learn More" it takes you here:

https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375114?p=empty_search_ww&hl=en&rd=1

It just says searching by Visibility is an "Old Drive" feature.  It seems to be a retired feature, at least for now.  I tried a few strings in the search box and URL to see if it might be hiding as a command but I didn't have any success.  For now, you can still switch back to the old drive by clicking on the gear and selecting "Leave the new Drive". Or replace [YOUR DOMAIN] in the URL below and go there.

Replace [&visibility=0] for these results:
Not Shared: &private=0
Private: &visibility=4
Domain with Link: &visibility=3
Domain: &visibility=2
Anyone with the link: &visibility=1
Public on the web: &visibility=0

Using old drive is a short term solution.  If it's like other rollouts old drive will eventually be retired.  If this is feature is important to you, I recommend calling support or submitting a feature request.  If you enter a feature request, send me the link and I'll star it.  If they don't add it and retire old drive, maybe you could still use the Drive API with Google Apps Script.
