Image Search Filtering within Google Drive

When I create a new Google Doc and go to Insert > Image > Search -- it does not seem that safe search is enforced the same as a normal google image search. It does seem to filter some results, but definitely not all that should be. Searching with specific keywords yields some pretty unpleasant results. 

Has anyone else noticed this? Any thoughts on blocking those filter side until it's fixed on google's end? Most of them seem to be housed on googleusercontent, but there is way too much housed on that domain to just do a blanket blacklisting... 

I did submit a problem report to Google, but I've never sent one before so I don't know what kind of response to expect.
