Hello

Does anyone have experience with a FAX product that is compatible with gmail?  We are looking for a device/server to receive Faxes and route them to gmail accounts.

I don't think you need anything particularly special to be compatible with Gmail. There are many "fax to email" services available. I've had good experiences with both these companies:

https://www.hellofax.com/ - newer, prettier, easier & friendlier, haven't used them for long enough to vouch long term
http://www.trustfax.com/ - been around a while, sometimes UI is a little confusing for config but known to be solid

Both are better/cheaper than efax in my experience.

cheers, Mike @ FindBigMail

If you're looking for a very low volume fax to email solution, I've been happy with the pay-as-you-go ($.99) plan at unityfax.com. Also, I've eliminated the need for most faxes by using EchoSign.com for electronic signatures... and occasionally a quick snapshot of a paper document using my phone. My fax machine has sat unplugged in my closet for over two years. :)
