Chrome Sync Problem

When a student tries to log in to his Chrome browser, he gets the error "Oops, Sync has stopped working."  He has done everything that the help has suggested to do and still cannot get his browser to sync.  Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do next? He is using a mac laptop.  He has even uninstalled, turned off/on and reinstalled with the same problem.  Also cleared cache, there are no other users on his account. Any suggestions?

Not sure what the cause is but the fix is pretty easy.  Go to settings.   Click on Disconnect your account.    Wait a couple of minutes, then connect the account again.
