We just made the switch to Gmail and we have one user that is having issue getting their MAC mail to work with Gmail.  Every time we try to set up their account we get the message that says "Mail couldn't discover the account settings for the Mail server "Unknown".  This user is on MAC version 10.10.4.  Has anyone else seen this? Any advice on how to fix this?

We stopped using the Mail app when we switched to Gmail. Everyone uses the web version of Gmail, and it's awesome.

That would be MY solution to your problem. ;-)

IMAP and POP access has to be enabled for the domain or OU, and the user needs to have IMAP turned on in their own account settings. That's the first thing I would check.

Also +1 to what Jesse said ... use the web interface ;-)

I have changed jobs and altho it has been great, I need to withdraw. When I go to my Google groups,  it says I am not a member of the group so it doesn't acknowledge my attempts.  Ideas?
