Recently I have seen students attempt to join our guest SSID or BYOT (Bring your own Technology) SSID.  When they do this it somehow becomes a preferred network over the one I have assigned in the management console.  And since both of those SSID require a login page for access they are unable to use that chromebook until its reconnected to the correct SSID, which it will not do automatically.

I am using a PSK non-hidden SSID that is set to auto-connect in the management console.

Is there a way to prevent access to certain SSIDs or maybe disable connecting to other SSIDs entirely?

Ideally I don't mind if they connect to other SSIDs just that they will always prefer the correct network when it is available.

Thanks in advance

In the management console "Settings > Chrome Management > Networks > For Devices" add the SSID(s) and configure Auto-Connect to no.  There might be other better ways but that solved the issue for me.
