ksadmin error permissions error

I need to add Chrome to the allowed application list in Workgroup Manager on 10.6.8. I can add the browser itself fine but when students try to launch Chrome they get a ksadmin permission error. How can I allow it?

it's part of the Chrome updater on the local machine.

you can go to the file and give it everyone read/write permissions, but it's easier just to delete the file.

It will break the updater, but as a student would need admin rights to update chrome anyway, it doesn't really matter if they can check to see if there is an update in the first place.
