Folks

We've just started using GAFE here and all users are comfy with storing files on home directories on a local server.

THere is a push to start migrating files over to Google Drive.

What's a good way for teachers to continue to have unfettered access to students docs in Drive?

Now, of course, they have Windows permissions to go into any student's home directory.

How can I make that happen short of having each kid send out a share link to a teacher?

Thanks!

I encourage staff and students to share folders rather than individual files, so that everything stays nice and organized and you only have to share the folders once at the start of the year.  You can get all the details including an instruction guide, slideshow, and video tutorial at:

Of course this does involve the students sharing their folders with their teachers, but it is a one-time process.
