I have two questions about Google Group access access levels. We do not have Google Groups for Business, just "plain vanilla" groups.
1. If I set a group permission to "Restricted - Only members can post messages and view the members list" does that mean that those whose addresses are in group but who are not in our domain and are not gmail addresses can still post messages to the group?
It sounds like it does mean that, but I still want to confirm.
2. All three basic types of access levels (Team, Announcement-Only and Restricted) all make mention of the ability to "view the members list."
How can a normal user view the members list? I always thought that the ability to view the members list was a feature of Google Groups for Business and not "plain" Google Groups. In fact, our teachers complain that they can't see the members of our parent email groups.
Thanks for your help. -Joe
