We are looking at setting up 100+ Android Tablets for a school but only wanting to use one Gmail/Google Account per classroom with roughly 10-30 devices per classroom. Is there any issue with this other than data leak like email, Google Hangouts, Drive, etc.?

Anyone have any best practices or experiences for this scenario?

Thanks!!!

What model tablets are you using?  The easiest way to tackle this is to make a custom rom which pre-installs your apps, which you then just need to go through regesteps on.  Unfortunately, you can't pre-populate a registered device (based on mu last trials) since it is reading hardware ID info to make the hookup with the Play store.

I'm not sure that would be an option as that would require rooting.  These are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3's.  We are also using an MDM for OTA management.

Is the issue with rooting ethical or technical?  You can always un-root after deploy.  There are plenty of ways to tackle this - that is just the fastest/optimal route in my experience.

Mixture of both, not really an option.  Applications and policies will be pushed to the devices via the MDM over-the-air.
