where is create from template?

Hi, all,
This is my first question to the group so my apologies if I've overlooked
something. We've noticed lately when the students go into their Google
drive account that Templates is no longer listed under the Create menu.
Does anyone know where they can find the templates the teachers have
posted to our google account?

Hi Lisa,

Select Create>Connect More Apps>search "templates">select Drive Template Gallery

The option should appear the next time you select Create in Google Drive.

Another option is to create a new Google doc>file>new>from template

 

Our students have found this to be a little easier for some reason

Creating a new document, then going to File...New...from Template seems to solve the mystery of the missing templates.
