Has anyone dealt with this issue using iBoss?

"Google uses one wildcard certificate for many domains including
*.google.com and *.youtube.com. If we wish to keep students off
youtube then https://www.youtube.com must remain blocked and
subsequently all access to youtube encrypted or not for everyone. If
we disallow all users the ability to login to google then youtube can
be allowed for teachers and not students.
This is a technical limitation of the product and we intend on
including this ability in our requirements on the next content filter
RFP. When we purchased iBoss https://www.youtube.com didn't exist."

We use iBoss' Clean Video Search and Clean image search that automatically redirects them to a "safe" Google Image or YouTube URL.

Ironically, http://www.youtube.com/teachers is WIDE open.

So, there are options in iBoss.

Hope that helps.
