Student Apps in Chrome

Good Morning? What is the thought on allowing students to download apps to their chromebooks? My guess is that it will be hard to manage because students will be downloading apps left and right without your knowledge. In addition, not sure if all the apps are appropriate in the chrome store? Some will download games and other inappropriate stuff. Thanks, Lane

You can create a whitelist via the admin panel, but in my experience Chromebooks without apps yields a crippled experience.

We put almost zero restrictions on what apps the kids can download.  We have not had one problem.
