We are looking at turning on the gmail switch.  What is everyone using for archiving?  Backupify? Postini? Gaggle? Something else?  Any recommendations or thoughts about why you went with a particular solution?

Thanks.

We went with Postini because it was there. :)

Looks like Postini is being migrated to a new service called Google Apps Vault.  But unfortunately it's not available for education yet.

Looks like Postini is $11 per user for education.

It is based upon the number of users. I think we paid 10/user, but I will have to check.

It depends if you are archiving for 1 year or 10 yrs.

10 yrs is $11/user/yr

We currently use Postini.  Have not been impressed with their support.

I tried to contact postini twice this year to ask about pricing and such and nobody every responded.

We use Postini, but I have a question on that. I keep getting email from google about a transition from Postini. Is that different than if we already pay Postini?

Working with Google is sometimes confusing.

Thanks,

Postini is transitioning to vault - which seems to be more integrated into GAFE

We use Postini and looking forward to hearing more about Vault.  Just keep in mind Postini only covers mail.  I have been looking into Backupify and Spanning to archive Google Docs/Apps.  Has anyone else gone down these roads?

We also use Postini for about $4+/user/yr. I also could not get a response from Postini directly and so engaged with Cumulus Global company to get this setup. They charge a small fee for setup, but they were very responsive and helpful and included training.

I'm using backupify. I am hopeful about vault, but needed something in place at go live.
