Chromebooks and battery life.

Hey folks!

We've been a Windows laptop high school for 17 years. I want to know which Chromebook is recommended with the LONGEST daily battery life?? Our school runs between 7:30am and 3:45pm.

Also, are there Chromebooks with removable external batteries??

Look at the ARM based Chromebooks (OP1, Mediatek). But, you'll be sacrificing performance for battery life. That's an 8 hour day, under normal use that's 6-7 hours. I believe any Chromebook you buy today will get you more than that.

We supply each classroom with a couple of extra chargers, and the students don't normally bring their own charger with them. These are with the Dell 3120 and the Lenovo 500e.

I agree pretty much any Chromebook you get will have 8+ hours of battery life. We have been purchasing HP's the last couple of years but I believe there are several others that are good as well.
