Is it possible to export a single column from a Google spreadsheet?
If so, what formats is it possible to export to?

Some spreadsheets are cumbersome to read, and I have some teachers who
would like to export just one or two columns. Is it possible?

Thank you,
Carol LaRow

I would just copy the 2 columns to a separate worksheet and then download as a csv.

Or copy, paste into the spreadsheet software of your choice.

Or, depending on what you are attempting to accomplish, you can embed just a range of cells on a webpage...

I would use formulas to pull in the data you want into either another sheet in the same spreadsheet (easy formulas) to to another spreadsheet altogether (a little more complicated).  The first method will work really well ... depending on what you need to do with the data, you could publish-to-the-web just the 2nd sheet with the formulas and make it available to whomever you want.

The advantage to using formulas is that once you set it up, it will continuously update as records are added via form submissions.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.  Share the doc if you want.
