Hello all,
We are beginning a pilot of
the Google Apps \ Gmail systems here and are looking to use Postini. We
have horribly slow response from Postini Customer Service yet Google Services
is very responsive to our questions. Thanks to all of you, I was
able to develop two different sets of rules for our inbound and outbound
messaging through Postini services. We had to obtain the correct
MX records to finally get our email to work through Postini but I still
think something is missing.
What is the trick (or tricks)
to configuring Postini outbound messaging? I see multiple messages
in Postini's documentation and Google's documentation regarding where records
and IP addresses may need to be changed. My inbound "bad word"
message filtering is working like a champ but my outbound "bad word"
emails seem to fly out from Google \ Postini without hesitation or delay.
Am I missing something somewhere? Have I missed a change in
the configuration that Postini needs to have all outbound email sent through
Postini?
Any and all comments or thoughts
welcome and encouraged... thanks in advance!
