Gaggle vs vault

I am currently a postini customer and Google is in the midst of moving us all to vault.  I believe in keeping my options open and was wondering if anyone uses gaggle for archive and what your thoughts are on them?

I'm not looking at Gaggle, but I am looking at Spanning Backup and Backupify - I'd take a look at those as well. 

Vault is cheapest and 1st party, but feature weak. Drive will apparently be covered by vault sometime this summer according to the grapevine.

We are currently using Gaggle for staff archive and for access to student mail.  Gaggle has served us well.  Their support is good and price is competitive.  As our contract comes up, we will evalutate the Vault as an option.  Cost, features, and ease of use are considerations.

We use it so that we can review email when necessary.  FOIA would be for adults, but students could send threatening or other inapproriate email to another student.  Even if both the sending and receiving student delete the mail from their Google account, we can still retrieve it with Gaggle.  Only the super admin can do this and there is an audit trail created showing when, but it's there if needed.  Gaggle also provides a "Human Monitoring Service" of student email and they can notify the appropriate school official of issues.
