Does anyone have a list of vendors that are authorized resellers for Chromebooks for the education market?

Not a fan of CDW, based on some poor experiences with their sales team in the past.  So, we are looking for alternatives.

Thanks.

Good to look online, but it seems to be the big vendors only.  Google is expanding to include local vendors who give strong support to schools in your region. In the Northwest, Micro K12 in Everett is now authorized for both the Chromebooks and Google management.  They have been a strong support choice for our district, and you see people who can help you on occasion.  Not a bad thing...

I work with Gov Connection.  Rob Faichney has been our sales rep for years on multiple types of purchases.  Nothing but positive feedback from me.  He just sent us some Chromebooks to trial for 30 days, and I had the machines less than 1 week after I inquired about them.

We use Insight Public Sector for our chromebooks, laptops and desktops.  I haven't found another vendor that can beat their prices and they have provided excellent service for the past three years.

We don't do business with CDW for anything, if possible.

Great results from https://shop.promevo.com/

We got them all pre-enrolled.

I think it depends on your CDWG rep.  They had a huge backorder problem (as did almost all CB vendors) but my rep tells me they have thousands in stock now and are ready for the summer.  Our CDWG reps have always been responsive.  We're ordering ~800 CBs from them over the next few weeks and are opting for the $12 CDWG upgrade and enrollment services.  But no etching or branding.

My current sales rep in SoCal is Cindy Creel cyn...@cdw.com

All my best,
Matthew

As i mentioned earlier, I have not had problems with CDW-G either. We place the order for Chromebooks (or any other product) and I get a notice with a day or two of it being shipped.

When I ordered my demo, I had it in a days time.

My rep is Chris Frana (I am in Central Coast CA)

I had a bad experience with CDWG, but when we switched reps they've actually been my preferred source, and have saved us a ton (cheapest quotes by far on almost everything).

Sean Roche is our rep. Total rock star.

I originally used http://newmindgroup.com/ and mic...@newmindgroup.com but switched to CDWG.  I had a better experience with going through NewMind because all of the Chromebooks can enrolled and in my dashboard. With CDWG they did not show in my dashboard.  Also, I think this is important, is that when I bought through NewMind I contact Google for support. When I bought through CDWG I deal with Samsung for support. So for the next round I will go through NewMind again.

Other than the Chromebooks I have also found that CDWG gives good service and provides the cheapest quotes

Hi Mike,

SADA Systems, a Google Premier Partner, is an authorized reseller of Chromebooks and the management software. I would be happy to talk to you or connect you with one of our reps in your area.

Your experience with CB's not showing in your dashboard on purchase's from CDWG sounds like the management license was not purchased.

Forgot to clarify - they show in the management console as being managed. They did not show in Settings > Chrome Management > Shipments and when I look in the Devices section the ones we got from CDWG do not show Support End Date

We did get the management as part of it but was told (by a Google Rep) that since CDWG had ordered directly from Samsung instead of Google that was the reason they did not show.
