mass reset of passwords on student domain?

This is our first year using GAFE for the start of the school year.  Students had accounts last year and many have forgotten their passwords.  Is there a tool that will reset all student passwords to a default password at the start of the school year?

You can now use the bulk upload tool to reset passwords. Create a CSV with the user accounts that need resetting as per the requirements of the bulk user creation tool, feed it to the uploader tool, and it will update passwords and user names for all accounts you specify. There are three checkboxes presented to you when you upload the CSV - be sure you check the "update existing accounts" (or something similar) box to allow the uploaded CSV to update the existing accounts. 

Not the most elegant, but it works.

We have been using GAM for about six months or so:

I've used bash wrappers and text files to batch add users into groups, change passwords, add nicknames and even change usernames. It's been a very useful tool and is fairly easy to use.
