Group for parents of gifted and talented students

This year I started an email group for parents of gifted students at
my sons school, Tully Elementary School in Tucson, AZ. If you have
done the same thing for your school, or are considering doing the same

I have also posted a spreadsheet of academic competitions that may be
interesting to others outside the school. This year we have had a
gifted student kicked out for violence, a teacher that had three
surgeries for cancer, and a significant drop in gifted enrollment. It
has really been a struggle. I hope this site and the collected
messages can be a valuable resource. I also would really welcome any
suggestions you have on how to improve the quality of gifted education
at Tully Elementary, and how I can make the email group be better.
