I am assisting a 6th grade class in the completion of the
National Geographic Society Kids Network "What's in our water"
program. I would like to try to set up a network of other
teachers participating in this program. Perhaps we can share
ideas, help each other with problems or even have our students
communicate with each other through this medium as well as
NGSKN. If interested post in this newsgroup or send me a
private email. We will be starting the program in the end of
Feb. '94

I am a UVa grad student and will be working with 4th graders
for about 3 weeks on stream ecology, testing, clean up, etc. In
Charlottesville (2/21-3/11). If you are interested in having
our classes correspond about our findings and your information,
that would be great! We are using the Izaak Walton League's
Save Our Streams kit. Let me know if you are interested. Anne
