It's not 'silly'. It's there to protect children. Yeah I guess 16 isn't
adhered to by many teens, but the limit is to stop considerably older and
somewhat 'influential' adults from mistreating younger people.

but remember rape is rape is rape - regardless of age. i don't actually
think the age limit puts that many people off - if they're going to do it,
then they're going to do it... and that's all there is to it.

but it does show another barrier that these shizers could get banged up for

But as soon as a bloke has sex with an underage girl he has commited a crime
