Soo people. How are the dances at your schools out there? At ours we've
got the smoke, the laser lights, the big street type light things, and
those wierd vertical/horizontal thing... oh well... yeah, My dance was
pretty cool today. And I think I might start going out with the girl I
asked to the dance... Wow, she's just... Great! :)

The last dance we had wasn't as good as the first... the idiots
who pick the dates for those things put it on a Thursday and a lot of my
friends weren't able to come, cuz you know school night and all.
The fun part is when the dance is over and everybody is coming
out of the gym you find that the heat of all those dancing bodies and sweat
has condensed on the windows and fogs them up, just dripping.

Ours is during school hours. Cool huh? Yeah it gets pretty hot in the gym.
But when they play a crap song, everybody piles into this one room that
is very cold. At anytime during the dance there's about 100 people in
there cooling off...

The last dance had lazars... I liked it... though I wish I hadn't gone, I
hurt my ankle and hobbled for a while... wasn't even allowed to swim for
the swim team!

I dislocated something in my spine when I was head banging. I had to goto
a chiropracteur (sp) dude.... man THAT hurt... and that dance was no fun.

I just started going to my school's. They really are cool. The only thing
is they end rather abruptly at 10:30. Some teacher comes up, turns off
*ALL* colored lights and music, turns on the florescent lights, and says
something to the effect of "The door is that way. Leave"

Our school dances are O.K. The food is great. Except, there is always one
problem, we never can get a good D.J.. Any suggestions?

.... Hmm .... Well do you have a students council? Get them to get a
better D.J. I myself am a good D.J. But I don't have enough equipment to
be any better than decent. :(

You need to have student senate talk to the DJ first and make sure they
at least have enough good music to serve requests.

BTW - You have food?!? We have a big room and make our own fun! <grin>

We have to buy the food... so eveyrthing ends up getting stolen. Make your
own fun eh? Well my school is full of slow people. So they don't know what
fun is. Not slow as in duhhhh.... but slow as in relationships. That is
what you were referring to, right?

Yes, we have a student council. I'm on it. You see, there are two types of
dances, a school one (the school controls), and a TGIF one( the Rec.
department of our town control) I go to the school dances, and they are
really bad, and no one comes anymore. I've heard the TGIF dances suck, too.
HELP!

Where are your dances? In the gym?

What I suggest is do some fund raisers. Then get a good D.J. on your stage
with that money you raised. Make sure the lights are off, and have some
Special FX.... I never realized how good my school's dances were...
